Discover the program

OUR VISION

Confidence for every journey.

To help people build the knowledge and confidence to contribute to safer, more reliable employee transportation.

OUR MISSION

Practical learning that moves people forward.

To deliver accessible, practical learning through industry scenarios, guided exercises and clear operational foundations.

UNDERSTANDING THE INDUSTRY

What is employee transportation?

Employee transportation is the service an employer arranges or manages to help employees travel to and from work. It can use shared cabs, buses or shuttles, with a team coordinating the service directly or through transport vendors.

For a 09:00 shift, that team checks who needs transport, plans pickups and seats, monitors arrivals and responds when the plan changes. The work combines safety awareness with reliable service and clear communication.

THE PROGRAM

Learn the tasks.
Check your decisions.

You will work through a shift plan, a dispatch handover, a trip report and an improvement proposal. Each exercise asks you to explain your assumptions and check the evidence.

01 / UNDERSTAND
◎

See the full picture

Map the employee journey and the responsibilities of the people behind it.

02 / PLAN
⌁

Make a workable plan

Use sample shift requirements, rosters and vehicle capacity to build a basic plan.

03 / COORDINATE
↗

Respond with clarity

Practise dispatch handovers, changes, service issues and escalation communication.

04 / IMPROVE
▦

Learn from the data

Keep trip records, review sample vendor information and report service performance.

WHO THIS COURSE IS FOR

Start with the skills your role needs.

Beginners & career starters

Understand transport roles, common terms and the employee trip workflow. Practise building your first shift plan.

Transport coordinators

Strengthen dispatch preparation, handover notes and delay communication with structured exercises.

Administration & facilities teams

Learn to review trip records, identify service exceptions and ask clearer questions about vendor performance.

Fleet and vendor team members are welcome too. Basic computer and spreadsheet familiarity will help with the exercises.

CAREER DIRECTIONS

Where can these skills help?

Employee transportation teams need people who can coordinate a shift, keep accurate records and explain what needs attention. This foundations course introduces those tasks through guided practice.

Operations and coordination

Explore transport helpdesk, tracking, dispatch and coordination roles. Practise a shift plan and a clear handover.

Planning and reporting

Understand roster and route support, trip records and service reporting. Practise checking timings and explaining a report.

Further career directions

With further experience or training, explore vendor management, customer service, transport technology or commercial work.

Some careers progress into team, shift or transport management; others develop through specialist work. Titles and entry requirements vary by employer. This course builds foundational understanding. It does not guarantee a job, promotion or salary.

A LOOK INSIDE THE LEARNING

Practise the work.
See what you can create.

These short examples use fictional data. They illustrate the kind of thinking you will practise—not real trips, client records or learner results.

VEYTIVA LEARNING LAB · TRAINING SIMULATION

See a shift plan take shape.

During an instructor-led demonstration, check how eight fictional passengers fit into two vehicles, then compare their arrival times with the shift target.

Explore what changes when a plan is disrupted, and discuss what a coordinator still needs to verify.

Shown: our planning interface with fictional teaching inputs. This is a training simulation, not a live transport operation or learner result.

VEYTIVA Learning Lab training simulation: passenger groups P01 to P08, two vehicles with four usable seats each, and calculated arrivals of 08:40 and 08:45.

EXERCISE 01 · SHIFT PLANNING

Enough seats. What about time?

Shift start
09:00
Arrival target for this case
08:45
Passengers / vehicles
8 / 2
Usable seats per vehicle
4

Your task: assign the passengers, calculate each arrival and identify what still needs checking. Seat capacity alone does not prove a route will work.

EXERCISE 02 · COORDINATION

A delay. A useful update.

08:10 departure delayed by 20 minutes. Journey: 35 minutes. Four passengers affected. No backup confirmed.

Your task: calculate the revised arrival and write a handover stating the facts, impact, action, owner and next update. Keep unknowns visible.

EXERCISE 03 · TRIP REPORTING

Read the report. Check the evidence.

Completed trips
8
At or before the 08:45 target
6
After the target
2
On-time performance
75%

Your task: show the calculation, separate observations from possible causes and flag invoice questions for evidence review.

THE VEYTIVA APPROACH

Start with a task.
Explain your thinking.

Clear explanations. Realistic scenarios. Skills you can practise.

Built around the work.

A plan needs more than enough seats. A handover needs more than “vehicle delayed”. We work through these everyday details with fictional scenarios, check the calculations and discuss what still needs verification.

Our learning focus: safety awareness, clear communication, employee experience and continuous improvement.
